BMW Motorrad delivered 2,563 two-wheelers in 2020, which is 6.7 per cent more than what the company delivered in 2019.

BMW India was the largest contributor to the group's total sales in 2020 with 6,092 units, while MINI India sold 512 units during the same period. BMW Motorrad India was a significant contributor as well with 2563 units sold through the year.

Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) ends the end of the calendar year with positive sales.

Home-grown commercial vehicle manufacturer, Ashok Leyland, has released the sales data for the month of December 2020. Last month, the company's total sales stood at 12,762 vehicles, thus witnessing a good 14 per cent Year-on-Year (Y-o-Y) growth as compared to the 11,168 units sold in December 2019.

Bajaj Auto has released its monthly sales data for December 2020, during which, the company's overall sales stood at 3,72,532 units. Compared to the 3,36,055 vehicles sold during the same month in 2019, Bajaj saw a Year-on-Year (Y-o-Y) growth of 11 per cent.

Mahindra has recorded a sales growth of 25 per cent at 22,417 units as compared to 17,991 units sold in the same month last year.

Toyota has recorded a growth of 14.41 per cent selling 7487 units in December 2020 as compared to 6544 units sold in the same month a year ago.

Sales of SUVs went up by 5 per cent at 16,050 units as compared to 15,225 units sold in the same month last year.
