Despite tough market conditions in 2020, BMW Motorrad reported its second best-ever annual sales figures.

Bajaj Auto reported a 23 per cent increase in standalone net profit of Rs. 1,556 crore during the third quarter of the current financial year.

MINI India delivered 512 cars in calendar year 2020 (January - December). Withstanding the current market challenges and lockdown situation, MINI India regained momentum swiftly in second half of the year. In Q4 2020 (October - December), MINI India posted the highest-ever quarter with a remarkable growth of 34 per cent as compared to the same period in 2019 and also closed the year with highest-ever monthly sales in December.

In December, deliveries were down just 3.2 per cent on the same month of the previous year, while in the fourth quarter they declined by a total of 5.7 per cent.

The company said that it sold about 1250 vehicles online and is expecting that number to rise in the coming years.

Passenger vehicle sales stood at 24,33,464 units between January-December 2020, as against 29,62,115 units sold during the same period in 2019, according to the data shared by SIAM.

About 252,998 passenger vehicles were sold in December 2020, witnessing a double-digit growth of 13.59 per cent as against 222,728 units sold in December 2019, according to the data shared by SIAM.

The Cayenne led demand at 92,860 sales, an increase of 1per cent compared with the previous year.
