SsangYong, the Korean carmaker owned by Mahindra & Mahindra has now rolled out its flagship SUV Rexto's new model called the RX6 in India. Positioned between Rexton's two existing variants - RX5 and RX7, the new RX6 is priced at Rs 19.96 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).

Being a part of Volkswagen family, the SUV is expected to be inherited with similar traits as seen in Volkswagen Trourag, Porsche Cayenne and the upcoming SUV from Bentley.

Maruti Suzuki Ciaz (pronounced as Chi-aaz) is surely one of the most awaited vehicles of the year, which will replace the not-so-successful SX4 in the country.This will also be another attempt from Maruti to tap the bigger car segments, which has never been MSI's territory.

Renault-Nissan alliance is currently working on a new 800cc 3-cylinder petrol engine, which will power their upcoming small cars. This engine is being developed by Renault-Nissan Technical Centre in Chennai.

Ford is offering LED daytime running lights as optional feature across all trims of EcoSport SUV. This feature is already available as standard feature in EcoSport sold in overseas markets; however in India it has been inducted now as optional.

The long wheelbase version will offer 186mm more legroom for rear seat passengers and, with the option of the executive seating package, the rear seats can be reclines to 17 degrees.

Suzuki has unveiled its new mid-sized sedan Alivio at the 2014 Beijing Motor Show. The same product was unveiled at the 2014 Indian Auto Expo in February as the Maruti Suzuki Ciaz, however, the Alivio looks very close to the production ready version.

The Korean automajor Hyundai has finally unveiled the ix25 sub-compact SUV at the Beijing Motor Show. The mini SUV is scheduled to be launched "exclusively in China" later this year.
