2017 Morocco Rally: Aravind KP Finished 13th, CS Santosh Bags 15th
The Indian contingent participating in the 2017 OiLibya Rally of Morocco showed some spectacular performance. For team TVS Sherco, Spanish rider Joan Pedrero finished a brilliant fifth, while teammates Adrien Metge of France took the 10th place followed by Aravind KP finishing 13th. Hero MotoSports Team Rally too boasted of fantastic results with their Portuguese rider Joaquim Rodrigues finished seventh overall, despite a torn up chin, while his teammate CS Santosh registered his best ever rally finish at 15th.
India Could Soon Get Three New Race Tracks

Coming in as a major push for motorsport in the country, India could soon get as many as three new race tracks. The new tracks will reportedly be built in Hosur (Tamil Nadu), Hyderabad, while the third one will be located between Mumbai and Pune

Mercedes-AMG driver Lewis Hamilton consolidated his lead for the 2017 world title as he won the Formula 1 Japanese Grand Prix, ahead of Red Bull drivers Max Verstappen and Daniel Ricciardo. Ferrari's Sebastian Vettel, who started at P2 on the grid suffered a spark plug failure early in the race, forcing him to retire in the opening stages. The move has further extended the gap between Hamilton and Vettel as the former now leads with a gap of 59 points.

Mahaveer Raghunathan has created history by becoming the first Indian to win a European Racing Championship. The Chennai lad raced to victory in the last two races of the Boss GP Championship (Formula Class) at Imola on October 1. The 19-year-old took a total of 263 points in seven rounds to take the championship title.

Sherco TVS Rally Factory team riders Joan Pedrero and Adrien Metge took the top spots in the PanAfrica Rally 2017 with Indian rider Aravind KP finishing 12th. Hero MotoCorp's CS Santosh managed to finish under top tent, taking the ninth spot in Morocco.

Securing his fourth consecutive pole for the Formula 1 Malaysia Grand Prix, it seemed Lewis Hamilton of Mercedes-AMG would be securing another win this season after the fantastic last three races. However, Red Bull's Max Verstappen, who started second, was at his aggressive best passing Hamilton at Turn 1 on Lap 4. There was no looking back for the Belgian, who went on to win the race at Sepang with a lead of 12.7 seconds.
