F1: Vijay Mallya Resigns As Director Of Force India Team, Son Siddharth To Take The Job
With cases of money laundering looming over Vijay Mallya, the Sahara Force India co-owner has stepped down from his position as Managing Director of the team. The Indian businessman, however, will continue to remain a shareholder and Team Principal of the Formula 1 team. Meanwhile, Bob Fearnley will remain in his role as the Deputy Principal. Vijay Mallya, however, has been succeeded by his son Siddharth as the new Force India team Director.
Isle of Man TT 2018: Rider Dies During Superbike Qualifying

Isle of Man TT racer Dan Kneen had a fall from his Tyco BMW at Churchtown on the opening lap of the practice session around the 59 km mountain course for the superbike race on Wednesday evening. According to reports, the 30-year-old racer from Onchan died at the scene of the incident, and the session had to be red-flagged. A second incident also took place subsequently when 36-year-old Steve Mercer collided with a course car and was seriously injured and has been transferred to hospital in Liverpool.

Red Bull Racing's Daniel Ricciardo sealed a fantastic weekend with a win at the 2018 F1 Monaco Grand Prix. The Australian qualified at pole position on Saturday and was quick to retain his lead for the entire race at Monaco, despite some close calls from Sebastian Vettel of Ferrari, who finished second. Taking the last place on the podium was Mercedes' Lewis Hamilton. However, Ricciardo's biggest competition came from his own engine, after the driver realised his powertrain had a problem almost halfway into the race.

While images of the I-Pace race car were revealed earlier this year, the car made its track debut at the Berlin ePrix as Formula E - Founder and CEO, Alejandro Agag put the electric SUV through its paces across five laps of the Tempelhof circuit.

Repsol Honda's Marc Marquez took his third consecutive win of the 2018 MotoGP season, sealing the victory at Le Mans. The Spaniard started second on the grid behind Tech 3 Yamaha's Johann Zarco managed to take a late lead almost halfway into the race and then went on to secure yet another win for the season. Finishing behind Marquez were Danil Petrucci of Pramac Ducati finishing second, by a gap of 2.7 seconds, while Valentino Rossi made a strong recovery to third, having start sixth on the grid.

Tech 3 Yamaha rider Johann Zarco posted the fastest lap in qualifying for the French Grand Prix and will be starting the race from pole tomorrow. The Frenchman broke the lap record at the Le Mans circuit with a time of 1m31.185s, beating reigning world champion Marc Marquez of Honda by 0.108s. Finishing behind Marquez was Pramac Ducati's Danilo Petrucci, 0.196s behind Zarco and the second satellite rider in the front row.
