Formula E: Vergne Wins Monaco e-Prix; First Podium For Massa
Techeetah driver Jules-Eric Vergne secured his second Formula E win of the season in the 2019 Monaco e-Prix. The driver started the race on pole and managed to convert it into a victory but not before a late charge from Nissan e.Dams' Oliver Rowland, while Venturi driver Felipe Massa bagged his first podium in the electric racing series. Coming I fourth was Mahindra Racing's Pascal Wehrlein, who was pushed to fourth in the opening lap and couldn't climb the order till the chequered flag.
Ferrari Considering Netflix And esports Involvement

Ferrari are considering engaging with Netflix on a second Formula One documentary as well as joining the rest of the 10 teams in the esports world championship, team boss Mattia Binotto said on Friday. Ferrari and champions Mercedes did not cooperate on the successful 'Drive to Survive' 10-part fly-on-the-wall series filmed by Netflix last season, arguing that they needed to focus on the title battle. When their cars or drivers did feature, it was from the official world feed television footage.

The third day of the 2019 Desert Storm saw a number of drivers move up the order while several fan favourites struggling to keep pace during the lengthy stage. Cementing his lead from yesterday, Aabhishek Mishra with co-driver Srikanth Gowda of Team Sparky Garage held on to the lead in the Xtreme category finishing Special Stage 6 (SS6) in 02h49m49s driving the Maruti Suzuki Vitara. Meanwhile, Samrat Yadav with co-driver Kunal Kashyap moved up the leaderboard to finish the day in second place in 03h00m44s. Mishra's teammate Capt. AVS Gill with Diwakar Kalia finished the day in third place 03h03m01s, solidifying the team's position in the rally.

Defending champion Aabhishek Mishra led the 2019 Desert Storm on Day 1 blazing through the tough terrains and soaring heat of Rajasthan. The Team Sparky's Garage driver along with co-driver Srikanth Gowda managed to bag the lead from Day 1 leader Sunny Sidhu in the Xtreme Category with a total time of 3h22m46s after the morning stage. Team Mahindra driver Sidhu with co-driver Ashwin Naik had a dominant run on Day 1, but car troubles pushed them to the middle of the pack after Special Stage 4 (SS4) by Thursday evening.
MotoGP: Marquez Wins Spanish GP As Pole-sitter Quartararo Retires

After securing a DNF in Argentina last month, reigning world champion Marc Marquez took a dominant win in the 2019 MotoGP Spanish Grand Prix at Jerez. The Honda rider took his second win of the season, beating pole-sitter Fabio Quartararo of Petronas Yamaha who became the youngest rider to take pole position in the history of MotoGP. Interestingly, the position was previously held by Marquez. Coming in second was Suzuki's Alex Rins, fresh off his first-ever premier class win in Argentina while factory Yamaha rider Maverick Vinales took the last place on the podium.
X1 Racing League Reveals Race Car; To Begin From October 2019

Xtreme 1 or X1 Racing League was first announced last year and is all set to begin the motorsport series by October 2019. The city-based championship in a first-of-its-kind format is the brainchild of Indian racers Armaan Ebrahim and Aditya Patel, both representing the country in international racing championships. The founders revealed the two-seater race car for the event at the Buddh International Circuit (BIC) and it has been developed in India specifically for the championship series. The two-seater open-top race car has been unveiled in the prototype guise, but the final version will be identical to what we see here. The specifications on the model though are yet to be revealed.

2020 Dakar Rally Route Details In Saudi Arabia Announced

The Dakar Rally will be moving to Saudi Arabia in 2020 in a massive move for the motorsport series, having spent a decade in the dunes and mountains of South America. While the announcement to move the Dakar Rally arrived earlier this month, organisers ASO have now presented the route for the 2020 Dakar that takes place for the first time in Asia. The next edition of Dakar will commence on January 5, 2020 in Jeddah, the capital of Saudi Arabia, before concluding on January 17 in Al-Qiddiya after 12 stages and over 9,000 km of running. A rest day is planned for January 11 in Riyadh.

Valtteri Bottas managed to convert his pole position advantage into a win in the 2019 Formula 1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix. The driver took his second victory of the season fending off a late charge from teammate Lewis Hamilton in what was this year's fourth consecutive 1-2 finish for Mercedes. Coming in third was Scuderia Ferrari's Sebastian Vettel taking his third podium of the season followed by Max Verstappen of Red Bull Racing in fourth place. Bottas' win catapults him to the top of the drivers' standings.
