Keeping up with the momentum it created in 2015, HMSI will kickstart 2016 by unveiling the Navi at the Auto Expo 2016. According to the latest update on Honda Two Wheelers' website, HMSI has posted a picture saying, "Here to change the way India plays with two wheels."

Even though there has been no confirmation from HMSI if the Navi will be a scooter or a motorcycle, CarandBike.com has every reason to believe that it will be an automatic scooter. But unlike most of the automatic scooters available in the Indian market as of now, the Navi will 'start a new sub-segment in the automatic scooter category'.

This also makes us believe that the Navi can be either a 125 or 150cc maxi scooter. Over the past year or so there have been speculations of Honda launching its PCX 150 in the Indian market sometime in 2016. Even though Honda might not launch the exact 150cc PCX in the same avatar as it is offered in other international markets, the possibility of a little tweaked version can't be ruled out.

Unless HMSI decides to drop some hints before the Auto Expo 2016 begins, we would like to stick to our belief that the Honda Navi is a 150cc (or 125cc) maxi scooter. If we hear anything else about the Navi before it is showcased, we will surely keep you updated.
