Geneva Motor Show 2017: Highlights From Day One
It is that time of the year when almost all the automotive manufacturers in the world set up shop in the beautiful city of Geneva for the famed Geneva Motor Show. 2017 will see the 87th edition of the Geneva Motor Show, which will be host to some of the hottest car unveilings and launches of the year. From an Indian perspective, Tata Motors' new sub-brand, TAMO, will be showcasing its first ever model at the Geneva Motor Show. 7th and 8th of March, 2017 will be the press days and the Motor Show will be open to the public from 9th March to 19th March, 2017.
Geneva Motor Show 2017: Aston Martin AM-RB 001 Named Valkyrie

Aston Martin has now revealed that the AM-RB 001 Hypercar has been officially named as Valkyrie. It will get a 6.5 Litre V12 engine. The exact specification are not known yet. Aston Martin will build only 150 units of the Valkyrie, for the road that is.

One of the most exciting unveils at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show for me will not be the new McLaren, a 800 bhp Ferrari or even the new Aston Martin-Red Bull hypercar but the all-new sports car from Tata Motors' new sub brand - Tamo. Tata Motors have already given us hints about what the car will be like in terms of general configuration and approximate horsepower, but for the sake of all you readers, here are the facts again. The Tamo sportscar will have a mid mounted petrol engine (which could be turbocharged) and put out in the ball park of about 200 bhp.
Mercedes-AMG Teases The AMG GT4 Concept Ahead Of Geneva Debut

Mercedes AMG recently released a teaser image of its AMG GT4 concept. It will be a replacement for the CLS Shooting Brake and will get a 4.0 Litre, twin-turbocharged V8 engine that will pump out over 600 bhp. Mercedes says that the car will be starting to hit the showrooms in early 2018 or so.

The luxury SUV has been further spruced up by Bentley's in-house custom division in Crewe, UK and adds the best of all worlds to further pamper its uber luxurious owners. The Bentayga Mulliner will be offciially showcased at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show later this month.
2018 Mercedes E-Class Cabriolet Revealed; Debut At Geneva Motor Show

Mercedes-Benz has revealed the newest member of the E-Class family - the 2018 E-Class Cabriolet, ahead of its public debut at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show. The open-top four-seater was being teased for a while now and mimics the looks of the E-Class coupe, albeit with a soft top instead.

Skoda has been working on the new-generation Yeti and the Czech carmaker is expected to unveil the car next month at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show. Ahead of its official unveil some new spy images have surfaced online of what appears to be the new-gen Skoda Yeti. The new model shares its design and styling with the Skoda's all-new 7 seater SUV - the Kodiaq and more or less looks like a downsized version of latter.
New Mercedes-Benz E-Class Cabriolet Teased Ahead Of Geneva Motor Show

Mercedes-Benz recently released a teaser of the 2017 E-Class Cabriolet ahead of its Geneva Motor Show debut. The new E-Class Cabriolet will have three engine variants in the base E 220d, an E 300 and a top of the line model in the E 400. The E 220d will have a 2.0 litre diesel engine producing about 188 bhp or so while the E 300 will have a 2.0 litre four cylinder petrol engine producing over 240 bhp. The biggest engine on offer will be a 3.0 litre V6 petrol engine that will pump out over 330 bhp and will also have Mercedes' 4Matic AWD system.
Vollkswagen Arteon Teased Ahead Of Geneva Motor Show Debut

Volkswagen is all set to take the wraps off its latest sedan, the Arteon at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show. However, the company couldn't help but release a couple of teaser pictures before the actual reveal of the car. Volkswagen calls the Arteon a fastback and will be positioning it above the Passat, replacing the old CC sedan in the line-up.
