Very seldom does Maruti Suzuki want to put the past behind, given it's overall leadership position in the Indian market. However, the compact sedan segment has proved to be a tough nut to crack for Maruti - the initial response to the SX4 was great, which then flagged off when the DZire arrived.

Now, there's a 'new' Yeti - which, let's be honest, isn't really new. It's more like some caramel was added to an already impressive flan to make it more compelling. Facelift, then, would be the right word - a mild, and mostly cosmetic, one, at that.

I like to believe that the guys at BMW design intentionally maintain the essence, the integrity and the originality of a model's design - because they don't want it to look substantially different. So nothing on a BMW facelift ever screams redesign! Yes this is not a Hyundai!

After the Audi A3 made waves now its soon going to be the turn of the Mercedes-Benz GLA. I dither on calling it an SUV as it's more crossover-like. But it sports some SUV attributes, which make it a rather fun prospect.

Though the previous i20's Fluidic design was received well in India, Hyundai is looking to widen its horizons with the rather European-esque Fluidic 2.0 design philosophy. The company claims this shift in the design philosophy was to transform the car's image, i.e. it wanted the Elite i20 to come across as 'bold' instead of 'youthful'.

There are not many changes to the exterior of the car but Renault has managed to give the Duster AWD a unique set of alterations which sets it apart from the regular car. To begin with it gets, what Renault calls 'Anthracite' alloy wheels, darkened head-lamp clusters and matte black B-pillars on the RxZ trim.
