The Government of Maharashtra had introduced the Early Bird incentive scheme to promote electric vehicle sales in the state, and earlier it was valid till December 31, 2021. The state government says the response was quite encouraging.

Tesla has recalled 675,000 cars in the United States and China over issues with the trunk and front hood of two models, raising new questions about the safety of the popular electric vehicle.

Electric carmaker Tesla Inc will stop allowing video games to be played on vehicle screens while its cars are moving, the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said on Thursday.

China will cut its subsidies on new energy vehicles (NEV), such as electric cars, by 30% next year, the Finance Ministry said on Friday.

Under the non-binding deal, the company will evaluate Jio-bp's charging and battery swapping technology for its electric three- and four-wheelers, as well as quadricycles and small commercial vehicles.
