Renault has taken the wraps of a brand new electric concept car at the 2018 Paris Motor Show. The new concept car is essentially an all-electric version of the very popular Renault Kwid hatchback and has been officially called the Renault K-ZE concept. The electric car packs an impressive range of 250 kms on a single charge and has a dual charging system that supports both commercial electric car chargers and standard home based plug points too. The Renault K-ZE has been made specifically for the Chinese auto market where it will be launched in a production avatar sometime soon.

Automobili Pininfarina announced its line-up of partners and collaborators - including a unique technical partnership with Rimac Automobili to provide battery and drivetrain expertise, software, and hardware, in a contract worth up to 50 million Euros.

India's first all-electric hypercar, Vazirani Shul, was today officially unveiled in the country. Designed and developed by Vazirani Automotive, which is headed by designer and co-founder Chunky Vazirani.

Porsche has officially announced that it will no longer offer diesel vehicles. The Stuttgart-based luxury and sports carmaker said that it's intensifying its activities in the areas of hybrid technology and electromobility and will drop diesel powertrains for good.

Mahindra is currently planning to update its KUV100 and TUV300 model product range in India. The company is planning to introduce fully-electric KUV100 and updated TUV300 in 2019, while a diesel AMT version of the KUV100, will come by the end of this fiscal.

Vazirani Automotive made headlines earlier this year when it first revealed the 'Vazirani Shul' - India's first electric hypercar - at the Goodwood Festival Of Speed. Now, the automaker is all set to unveil the very special model in India later this month on September 26, 2018, making the Shul's domestic debut at an event in Mumbai. The Vazirani Shul is the creation of designer and co-founder Chunky Vazirani and has been built with inputs from Force India F1 Team (previously Sahara Force India F1 Team) and tyre maker Michelin. Chunky Vazirani has worked with Jaguar Land Rover and Rolls-Royce in the past.
