Crowdsourcing platform FuelADream has launched two models of a new generation electric bike under the brand name eRideLIte. The two models are differentiated by their range - one travels 50km on a single charge and the other has a 90km range on a single charge. And they are named accordingly - eRideLite 50 and eRideLite 90.

Mahindra owned Peugeot Scooters has launched the 2017 versions of the Metropolis and Speedfight 125 scooters in the UK. Both models gets upgrades for the new year in addition to a host of new tech on-board. In addition, the new Metropolis also turns out to be the first scooter globally to get hazard lights as standard, while the Speedfighter is the first Peugeot model to get full LED lighting.

Bajaj is all set to relaunch and revive the Pulsar NS 200 in the Indian market. The new updated bike will make its debut in mid-January 2017 and will feature a minor makeover in styling terms. More significant will be a BSIV engine though, and Bajaj says that the bike's specs and output will remain unchanged. Expect new colour options and new style body graphics.

Bajaj Auto has launched the much awaited Bajaj Dominar 400 in the country with prices starting at an introductory Rs. 1.36 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) for the non-ABS version. The Dominar is Bajaj's flagship offering and bookings for the same will be available only online for a token amount of Rs. 9000. Deliveries to commence in January 2017.

The Bajaj Dominar 400 is the new flagship offering from Bajaj Auto and is has finally made its official debut in the premium motorcycle segment priced from Rs. 1.36 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The bike competes with the KTM 200 Duke, Mahindra Mojo and Royal Enfield Classic 350. The Dominar 400 has come a long way since the concept, but has managed to retain most of the styling bits, while the mechanicals have seen a number of changes. The nameplate received of host of changes right from Pulsar CS 400, VS 400, to the Kratos. Power on the Bajaj Dominar comes from a 373cc single-cylinder DTS-i engine with a 6-speed transmission and a dual-channel ABS. The bike is primarily targeted towards riding long distances without having to compromise in power. The Dominar will surely stir up the 300-400cc segment in the country with its highly competitive price tag. With bookings commencing today at Rs. 9000, deliveries will begin in January next year.
