Verdict
I rarely swoon over the way a car is or drive but the new Aventador S is genuinely that good a car. The old one was great but it did have its issues and now with the new one Lamborghini has really got the formula spot on. I have spent hours and hours on the Lamborghini configurator after I drove this car and I even came up with what could be my dream spec. But alas, for us mere mortals, the Aventador S is quite expensive with its Rs 5.01 Crore (ex-showroom, Delhi) price tag.

The Lamborghini Aventador is one of the most extreme and exclusive supercars on the market today. With its sleek lines, aggressive styling, and amazing performance, it's no wonder that this car is so popular among luxury car enthusiasts.

How is the Design?

The Italian automaker Lamborghini produced the Aventador, a mid-engined sports car, under the brand name Lamborghini. At the Geneva Motor Show in 2011, Lamborghini presented the world with its first look at the Aventador. It succeeds the Lamborghini Murcielago as the company's flagship supercar. The design of the Lamborghini Aventador is derived from that of the Lamborghini Miura, but it has a more menacing appearance. A big grille and angular lines dominate the front-end design of the vehicle. The back end is equally angular, and it has taillights that are reminiscent of those found on the Lamborghini. The Contacted Aventador is offered with a choice between a coupe and a roadster body style. A V12 engine that is 6.5 litres in capacity and produces 740 horsepower is what drives this vehicle. The Aventador is capable of reaching its top speed of 217 mph and can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in about 2.9 seconds.

How does it perform?

The Aventador is a high-performance sports car produced by Italian automobile manufacturer Lamborghini. It was first introduced in 2011 as the successor to the Lamborghini Murciélago. The Aventador is available in two models: the base model and the Super veloce.

The Aventador has a 6.5L V12 engine with 740 hp and 509 lb·ft of torque. It can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 2.9 seconds, and has a top speed of 350 km/h (217 mph).

How’s the Mileage?

The Aventador gets an EPA-estimated 14 MPG in the city and 20 MPG on the highway.1 That’s not great compared to other sports cars, but it’s still better than some luxury SUVs.

How’s the Driving Experience?

The Lamborghini Aventador delivers an experience behind the wheel that is simply unparalleled. The car is tremendously quick and responsive, which makes it a blast to pilot behind the wheel. Additionally, the handling is extremely good, giving the impression that the vehicle is highly steady and firmly planted on the road. The only drawback is that the ride quality might be fairly poor when travelling through rough terrain. The Lamborghini Aventador is, in general, a remarkable piece of automotive engineering.

How’s its Off-road Capability?

The Aventador is not designed to be driven off-road. It's a race car, but it has all-wheel drive for added traction on the track. The Aventador is a low-slung, mid-engined supercar with an aggressive stance and very limited ground clearance. There is no getting past this fact. It is not designed to be used on the trails.

However, that doesn't mean the Aventador can't hold its own in the dirt. When conditions get challenging, the all-wheel-drive system and the Pirelli tyres, which provide an abundance of grip, work together to help keep things under control. The Aventador's long wheelbase and broad track allow it to handle difficult terrain with astonishing dexterity thanks to the design of the vehicle.

What’s the Interior like?

The interior of the Lamborghini Aventador is just as luxurious as the exterior. The seats are made of top-quality leather and the dash and trim are made of carbon fiber. The Aventador also comes with a premium sound system, navigation, and climate control.

Tech and Infotainment

The Lamborghini Aventador comes equipped with an extensive and cutting-edge assortment of technical and informational features. This provides the driver with access to a multitude of information and functions, which in turn make each voyage a more pleasurable experience overall. The car's instrumentation is fully digital and programmable, and an Apple CarPlay technology that is integrated into the vehicle ensures that smartphone connectivity will be smooth at all times.

In addition, the infotainment system features a high-quality audio system that comes equipped with DAB radio, satellite navigation, and Bluetooth connectivity, in addition to a plethora of additional capabilities like as voice control, Wi-Fi hotspots, and USB ports. Drivers also have the ability to record and download data regarding their performance while out on the track, and this is made possible with the optional Lamborghini Telemetry system.

Safety Equipment

The Lamborghini Aventador has been fitted with all of the most cutting-edge and advanced safety measures that are currently available. To begin, the vehicle is equipped with a cutting-edge airbag system that protects the driver and passengers in front, to the sides, and in the back. In addition to that, the Aventador comes standard with a rollover prevention system, seatbelts that come equipped with pretensioners, and an anti-lock braking system (ABS). In the event of a collision, the drivers and passengers will have the highest level of protection available thanks to the combination of all of these different safety elements.

Which variant to buy?

When deciding on a Lamborghini Aventador, there are a few factors that you need to take into consideration before making your purchase. Which version do you prefer, the SVJ or the base model? The entry-level model is more wallet-friendly, but the SVJ is a better value in terms of performance. If you are searching for a vehicle that you will use on a daily basis, the base model is definitely the better choice for you. However, the SVJ is the best option to choose if you are looking for a machine that offers genuine performance.

Another thing that you should think about is what colour you want it to be. Because the Aventador is available in such a broad variety of hues, you should have no trouble locating one that is to your satisfaction. If you are looking for something that is one of a kind, you even have the option of purchasing a colour that is limited edition.

At this point, you need to make a decision regarding your financial plan. Because the Aventador is one of the most costly automobiles currently available, you need to ensure that you have the financial means to purchase it. Leasing could be a better choice for you than purchasing if you are unsure about your ability to manage the monthly payments.

Which Cars Compete in this Segment?

The Lamborghini Aventador is a high-end luxury vehicle that competes in the same market segment as other top-of-the-line automobiles such as the Porsche 911 Turbo, the Ferraris 458 Italia, and the McLaren 650S. All of these performance automobiles are well-known throughout the world and provide drivers with an experience that is unequalled.

Verdict (Value for Money?)

It is difficult to identify any faults with the Aventador because it is such an incredible automobile. It is a supercar that has amazing performance, great handling, and a sumptuous interior. All three of these characteristics make it stand out. The Aventador's price is the one significant downside, but if you are able to get one, there is little question that it is well worth the investment.
