Revealed at the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance 2018, only 600 examples of the SVJ will ever be produced and we're glad to see that one of them has landed on Indian shores. This just shows how the company has been able to grab its share of customers in the country, with its varied products.

The Lamborghini Aventador Superveloce Jota or 'SVJ' made its global debut earlier this year and now, India's first example of the limited edition supercar has landed in the country. India's first Lamborghini Aventador SVJ has been delivered in Bangalore, Karnataka to a private buyer and this is the third model to be delivered globally. The first Aventador SVJ in India is finished in rich metallic blue shade and looks absolutely stunning with its menacing appeal. Revealed at the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance earlier this year, only 600 examples of the SVJ will ever produced. The Aventador is in its final years of production and the SVJ only takes the manufacturer to a completely different of desirability.

The SVJ is the final swan song of the V12 powered Aventador model lineup and will be unveiled officially in the next couple of days. And as with almost all major reveals in recent times, an official image showcasing the car's epic aerodynamic styling has been leaked courtesy of the Lamborghini Unica App, which is exclusively for Lambo owners. And while the Aventador in its standard avatar - or even the S and SV - are quite bonkers to look at, with the SVJ, things have been taken to an all new level. In what is most certainly a proper hark back to the crazy wide body and massive winged Countach models of the late 80s, the new SVJ will no wonder be a poster car for an all new generation!
Lamborghini Aventador SVJ Breaks Nurburgring Lap Record At 6:44.97
Its Official! The Lamborghini Aventador SVJ is now the new lap record holder at the legendary Nurburgring race-track in Germany. The latest iteration of the Aventador (and most likely the final version) has set a lap time of 6:44.97, which is over two seconds faster than the previous record holder, the Porsche GT2 RS, which had set a time of 6:77.3 and even the all-electric Nio EP9 supercar that has set a record of 6:45.9. The Lamborghini Aventador SVJ will be officially unveiled to the public at the upcoming 2018 Monterrey Car Week and will be available in limited units in both coupe and cabriolet form.
Lamborghini Aventador SVJ Nurburgring Laptime Leaked, 2 Seconds Faster Than Current Record
Lamborghini's latest and most likely final iteration of the Aventador will be the fastest, most powerful and possibly one of the craziest street going cars we have ever seen. Named the Aventador SVJ or Superveloce Jota, this final version of the V12 powered supercar will be packed to the gills with active aerodynamics that the automaker calls ALA or Aerodinamica Lamborghini Attiva. And of course, it will have even more power than ever before (rumoured to be around the 800 bhp mark). The new Lamborghini Aventador has never really been a track weapon but this new version will be the most track focused street car to ever come out of the Italian automaker and where better to prove yourself than the famed Nurburgring. We have all seen pictures of the car going around the German racetrack and now according to reports by the German publication Auto Motor und Sport, the SVJ has broken the Nurburgring lap time by setting a new record of 6:44.95, two seconds faster than the current lap record for production cars.
Lamborghini Aventador SVJ To Be Unveiled At 2018 Monterey Car Week
Its official, the Lamborghini Aventador SVJ and Aventador Roadster SVJ will be officially unveiled at the 2018 Monterey Car Week, which will kick off on August 18. The Monterey Car Week comes to an end on August 26 with the prestigious Pebble Beach Concourse d'Elegance Vintage and Classic Car Show. The Lamborghini Aventador SVJ will be the final series of the supercar before the replacement is announced sometime in 2019 or 2020. The new Lamborghini Aventador SVJ will be the most track focused V12 powered Lambo ever with active aerodynamics in the from of the ALA or Aerodinamica Lamborghini Attiva and more power from the V12 naturally aspirated engine. Expect the power output from the engine to be between the 770 and 800 bhp mark.

Now although usually the SV model heralds the end of a life cycle for a Lamborghini V12 supercar as per tradition, the Italian automaker decided to give the Aventador a much needed mechanical upgrade last year and launched the Aventador S instead giving the lineup a new lease on life. That said, the Aventador has been around for a long time now and will get a replacement soon. And to officially mark the end of its life cycle, Lamborghini will soon be launching yet another SV model. This time however, the SV gets a 'J' suffix - 'SVJ' - where the J stands for Jota. The terms Jota (pronounced Yota) has been traditionally used for the most hardcore and driver focused versions of Lambos and is a hark back to the original and rare Miura Jota of the 60s and the Diablo S30 Jota of the 90s.
