    A private detective agency in the United States, Pinkerton, tasked with the recovery of a stolen 2015 Lamborghini Aventador roadster is offering a reward of $100,000 for information about the car. The car in question, a white Lamborghini Aventador, was stolen in New York on October 28 and was last seen in at the intersection of Fowler Road and College Point Boulevard in Flushing New York.

    The agency has linked the suspects in the theft of the aforementioned Lamborghini Aventador to the Atlanta, Gerogia area and believes the roadster could either be in the process of being shipped overseas or is in metro Atlanta.

    The Lamborghini Aventador Roadster, which costs about $450,000 in the US, houses a 6.5-litre V12 engine under its carbon fibre engine bonnet and offers 691 horses along with 690Nm of maximum torque. The 4WD car gets a 7-speed ISR Semi-automatic transmission and a dual hydraulic circuit brake system with vacuum brake booster. Furthermore, the roadster gets a carbon fiber monocoque chassis with aluminium front and rear frames.

    In terms of safety, the Lamborghini Aventador gets ESP/ ABS with different ESP characteristics managed by drive select mode, and a comprehensive range of airbags - front dual stage driver airbag and front adaptive passenger airbag, seats with side 'head-thorax' airbags, and passenger and driver knee airbags.
