Gogoro, a Taiwan-based company and one of the biggest players in EV battery swapping solutions, has officially announced its entry in India. The company will launch a B2B pilot project in India with Zypp Electric as its partner. The EV ecosystem pilot program will be launched in December 2022. The program will focus on enabling battery swapping and increasing electric adoption for last mile logistics. The pilot project will be launched in Delhi first, with about 100 scooters.

#BYDIndia has officially unveiled its new #Atto3 electric SUV in India. The company has opened bookings for the SUV for a token of Rs. 50,000, while deliveries for the first 500 units will begin in January 2023. It will be the second electric passenger vehicle from the Chinese carmaker after the BYD E6 electric MPV that was launched in 2021. However, unlike the E6, which was targeted towards fleet segment, this one will be sold to privet buyers. The new #BYDAtto3 is offered in India in only one top-spec variant that comes with 60.48 kWh BYD Blade Battery (LFP) offering ARAI claimed range of 521 km, however, we expect the real-world range to be lesser.

The 2022 Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 has been launched in India with ex-showroom prices starting at Rs. 3.99 lakh for the base trim and going up to Rs. 5.83 lakh for the range-topping variant. The new Alto K10 is underpinned by Maruti's modular Heartect platform and has seen a significant upgrade in its design, interiors, creature comforts and powertrain.
