Toyota has loaded the Innova HyCross with tons of features, creature comforts, and ADAS functionalities, but a big change is that the Innova HyCross gets a front-wheel drive monocoque architecture underpinned by the TNGA-C platform, as well as heaps of visual enhancements on the inside and outside. What exactly does this mean for our readers? a lot, sure, but more on that later.

VX 8 STR(Hybrid)

Nothing but highclass suv

By Vipul Hemraj @ Oct 14, 2024 05:11 PM

Hycross is a fantastic car, but it’s not without its faults. The space inside is very generous, and it’s great for long trips with the family. The seating comfort is excellent, and the suspension makes even rough roads feel smooth. However, I find the fuel efficiency to be lower than expected, especially in city driving. The engine performance is strong on highways, and the handling is easy, but the car feels a bit bulky in tight spots. The safety features are robust, with airbags and other essentials, which is always reassuring. The boot space is decent, but if all seats are in use, it becomes limited. I’d also say the price is on the higher side, but given the comfort and reliability, it’s worth it.

GX (O) 7 STR(Petrol)

Average fuel efficiency, Limited boot space with all seats up

By Nikhil K @ Oct 01, 2024 03:27 PM

have been driving the Innova Hycross for nearly two years, and it’s been a reliable car for family use. The space inside is excellent, and the ride quality is smooth, especially on highways. The engine feels powerful, and the car offers good acceleration. However, I feel the fuel efficiency could have been better, especially in city traffic. The safety features are great, and the airbags provide an extra layer of security. On the downside, the boot space becomes quite limited when all the seats are in use, which can be inconvenient for family trips. Overall, it’s a solid car with a few minor drawbacks.

ZX 7 STR(Hybrid)

Performance or practicality as I hoped

By Yuvraj Mon @ Sep 30, 2024 11:57 AM

I am driving the Innova Hycross for over a year, and I’m not entirely satisfied. While the car offers good comfort and ample space for passengers, the fuel efficiency has been underwhelming, especially in city traffic. The engine performance also lacks the punch needed for smooth overtakes on highways. Another issue is the boot space, which becomes quite limited when all seats are being used. I’ve also found the maintenance cost to be higher than expected for a car in this segment. It’s a good family car, but it doesn’t deliver as well on performance or practicality as I hoped.
