2017 Toyota Corolla Altis Diesel Review
The Toyota Corolla is the largest selling car in the world with over 40 million units sold across the years and generations. In India, the Corolla was launched in 2003 and continues to be the best selling car in its category. The current generation Corolla Altis has been with us for a few years now and has finally been put under the scalpel for a midlife nip and tuck making, it much much better looking than before and also much sleeker. We drove the top of the line diesel powered car, which, badged GL is priced at just over Rs 19 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) to see if the updates have made it a better car.
Toyota Etios Cross and Corolla facelift coming by mid 2014
In a a bid to enhance its market share in the Indian car market, Toyota is planning to launch a couple of new and facelifted products by mid 2014. While the first to enter the market will be the Etios Cross - a more rugged-looking version of the Etios Liva hatchback, the 2014 Corolla facelift too will be launched around the same time.
Bookings for 2014 Toyota Corolla Altis open; launch by May end
Toyota dealers across India have started taking orders for the 2014 Altis facelift - which is expected to be launched by the end of May, with deliveries starting from the first week of June - for a sum of Rs. 50,000.
