What's New?
Suzuki Motorcycle India has launched India's first medium-sized motorcycle GSX-S750 formerly the Delhi showroom at Rs 7.45. The new Suzuki GSX-S750 first appeared at the Auto Expo about two months ago. For the Indian market in 2018, this is the manufacturer's first locally assembled product in the sub-1000 cc sub-market and the second joint CKD model joined by Hayabusa. The new GSX-S750 is based on the sports DNA of the GSX-R series, which is based on the Suzuki GSX-S1000-liter motorcycle.
Suzuki has launched its 2019 edition of the GSX-S750. For 2019, the bike gets two new colours: Pearl Glacier White with Blue wheels and Metallic Matte Black with Black wheels. It also gets new graphics. Other than these updates the bike is essentially the same as the 2018 model. Despite the new colour updates, pricing remains more or less the same, at Rs 7.46 lakh, ex-showroom Delhi.
The GSX-S750 is Suzuki’s first middleweight naked in India, brought in via the CKD route. It locks horns with the KTM 790 Duke, the Kawasaki Z900, the Triumph Street Triple siblings and the Ducati Monster 821. The instrument cluster is fully digital and continuing with the modern tradition, the tail lamp is also LED. The headlight doesn't get the fancy LED treatment as it is a halogen unit and the indicators bulb type. The GSX-S750 employs a 749cc inline-four cylinder liquid-cooled engine that produces 114.2PS at 10,500rpm and 81Nm at 9000rpm, in conjunction with a 6-speed transmission. The bike comes with a host of electronic aids like a three-mode traction control system, low-rpm assist, dual-channel ABS, and an easy start system. However, it misses out on ride-by-wire, slipper clutch and switchable ABS. But that’s a reasonable trade-off considering the price point where the motorcycle sits.
Suspension components include inverted front forks and a rear monoshock, both from KYB. A pair of 310mm front discs and a 240mm rear disc brings this motorcycle to a halt. The motorcycle rides on 17-inch alloy wheels wrapped with Bridgestone Battlax Hypersport tyres. At a generous 16 litres, the fuel tank should come in handy for touring purposes too. For the same price as the Suzuki GSX-S750, you can also get the Ducati Scrambler, Ducati Monster 797.

How is the design of Suzuki GSX-S750?
The new Suzuki GSX-S750 draws on the style curriculum of its sibling GSX-S1000. The headlights of motorcycles are very similar to those of the speed-up Street Fighter. Usually, the design of a motorcycle looks proportional. It looks sporty from all angles. Two-tone paint, detachable sports seats and tapered fuel tank extensions make the Suzuki GSX-S750 eye-catching.

In addition to this, the street-fighter bike model also receives the 3-mode traction control that aims at optimizing the overall power output based on the given road conditions.GSX-S750 Performance and handling the overall construction of the bike is a naked sporty look that aims at ensuring the top-notch comfort of the riders. The riding posture on the bike tends to be upright. It is claimed that the new Suzuki GSX S750 is definitely a head-turner and marks its strong road presence everywhere you go.
How safe is Suzuki GSX-S750?
The suspension of the Suzuki GSX S750 is powered by a 41mm Kayaba USD front fork at the front and a 7-way adjustable mono-shock absorber suspension at the rear. At both ends of the bike, there are matching brake discs next to the ABS (anti-lock braking system) obtained from Nissin.

In terms of the overall design, the latest Suzuki GSX S750 provides sharp styling features that appear identical to the standard S1000 bike model. The bike sports the attractive chiselled fuel tank along with a vented front fender, moulded mirrors, and a lightweight rear fender. The bike also boasts of the presence of a sharper angular headlamp cluster that gets complemented with the additional plastic cowl meant for the indicators. How is the ride of Suzuki GSX-S750?
After coming out of the pit lane, I spent some time modifying the GSX-S750 in the early corners, but then the sound of the four-wheel intake echoed with the exhaust sound, which became too alluring to maintain a steady pace. As you would expect, it’s silky smooth, just like a Japanese inline four-seater. The gear shifts are smooth and precise. There is no slip clutch, but the weight of the clutch is not enough to put pressure on your hands, especially in daily driving situations.
How comfortable is Suzuki GSX-S750?
The Suzuki GSX-S750 is not naked or lightweight. The weight on wet roads is 215 kg, so its mass can be felt at low speeds; after all, its size is about the size of its older brother GSX-S1000. You might think this is an S1000 before you notice the S750 badge on the muscle box. It has the same overall design, the large fuel tank, the exquisite headlights, the thick upturned forks and the inclined tail. But when you move, all the weight seems to magically disappear. GSX-S750 makes you more confident, turns faster and smoother, and allows you to trust the ability of the motorcycle after each turn.

How is the performance of Suzuki GSX-S750?
The performance is exciting. It maintains 227kph in sixth gear. With most Suzuki four-cylinder engines, it isn't outright smooth either, with some mild vibrations creeping in at the bar, pegs and seat from 6,000-8,000rpm; but these are minor enough to qualify as a character rather than a flaw. Thankfully, the throttle response isn’t as on-off abrupt as on the GSX-S1000, and while it isn’t the smoothest out there, it doesn’t generally cause concern either.
