Tata Motors has officially revealed that the production version of the H5X Concept will be called the 'Tata Harrier'. The name has been a long speculated one and brings the automaker's new flagship SUV one step closer to production. Tata Motors first unveiled the H5X concept at the Auto Expo earlier this year and will be positioned above the Nexon in the company's line-up. The production-spec Tata Harrier is expected to be revealed by the end of this year, while commercial sales will begin in the first quarter of 2019.

The production version of the Tata H5X SUV Concept is still sometime away from launch, but the Indian auto giant will be soon revealing the market name for the production-spec version. Taking to social media, Tata Motors has announced that the company will be officially revealing the production name of the H5X SUV today on July 11, 2018. The announcement is attached with a teaser image of the model that reveals the 'humanity line' on the SUV along with what appears to be LED headlights.
