Nissan today announced the start of pre-booking for the new Terrano 6 Speed Advanced Auto Drive for an initial token amount of Rs. 25,000. The new car will be based on the top-of-the-line XVD Premium variant and will be available for pre-booking in Nissan showrooms across India.

Apparently, Volkswagen has recently imported a single model of the Tiguan SUV into the country for testing and the arrival of this test mule indicates that the carmaker is gearing up for the big launch, which is slated to happen in 2017.

The standard BMW 3 Series sedan underwent a slight nip/tuck earlier this year and now it is the time for the 3 Series GT to get a mid life facelift. The 3 Series GT is essentially a larger and more comfortable version of the sedan with coupe-like styling. Honda's Accord brand name is set to return to India later this month after being discontinued in 2013. The first-made-in-India Jeep, Compass, will be rolled out of Fiat Chrysler Automobiles' India plant in Ranjangaon, Pune in the first half of 2017.
