The Geneva Auto Show is possibly the most important and most glamorous global motor shows in the world today and for good reason. Everyone who is anyone in the auto industry chooses this show on neutral Swiss soil to showcase the hottest metal and carbonfibre they have to offer. From concept hatchbacks, sports cars, supercars, hypercars and of course, the hoards of SUVs around to the occasional sedan and sports sedan, this year's Geneva Motor Show had something for everyone. Union Minister Nitin Gadkari launched a new mobile application (App) for users who frequently use highways. It offers real-time updates on toll plazas, provision to enter road quality-related complaints, report accident and more. A new 'Toll-free Emergency' number - 1033 has also been introduced.

The production-spec Pal-V Liberty Flying Car has finally made its public debut at the ongoing Geneva Motor Show 2018. Porsche is studying flying passenger vehicles but expects it could take up to a decade to finalise technology before they can launch in real traffic, its head of development said on Tuesday. Volkswagen's sports-car division is in the early stages of drawing up a blueprint of a flying taxi as it ponders new mobility solutions for congested urban areas, Porsche R&D chief Michael Steiner said at the Geneva auto show.

Croatian automaker Rimac might not be as well known as the Ferraris and Lamborghinis of the world but at the 2018 Geneva Motor Show, it has managed to wow the audience with their latest hypercar. But first the facts! The Rimac C_Two makes 1,887 bhp of peak power, 2,300 Nm of peak torque, has a top speed of 412 kmph and does 0-100 kmph in 1.97 seconds! And if those figures don't peak your interest, we don't know what will! The Rimac C_Two is the follow up act to the absolutely bonkers Rimac Concept One a limited numbers hypercar that was made until last year. Oh and by the way, the Rimac is an all-electric hypercar unlike all the other monsters making 1000+ bhp at the Geneva Auto Show.

Tata Motors has taken the wraps off its brand new EVision Concept car at the 2018 Geneva Auto show. The new sedan concept is an all-electric concept that is based on the Omega platform, one of the two new platforms that Tata Motors will use going forward. Incidentally, the Tata Motors H5X SUV concept, which was unveiled at the Indian Auto Expo last month is also based on the same Omega platform. Tata Motors also debuted the H5X SUV in Geneva alongside the sedan concept along with the new 45X concept premium hatchback. The latter also had its global debut last month at the Indian Auto Expo.

After years of speculation and wait, the Toyota Supra name is finally back. But before you get excited, the Supra name has only made its comeback as a race car and not a street car yet. Toyota marked the debut of the Supra with a new concept race car in partnership with Gazoo Racing. The new car, officially called the GR Supra Racing Concept is more or a stripped down version of the road going car that will be making its public debut in the next few months. The race car, just like the street version, is rear wheel drive and front engine.

The Ferrari 488 Pista, possibly the most popular car on social media today, has made its public debut at the 2018 Geneva Auto Show. The new special series supercar follows a long line of cars from the Ferrari 348 Serie Speciale, Ferrari 355 Serie Fiorano, the Ferrari 360 Challenge Stradale, the Ferrari 430 Scuderia and the Ferrari 458 Speciale. The new Ferrari 488 Pista will see limited production just like the special editions of past models. The new Ferrari 488 Pista puts out very impressive figures in terms of its technical specifications. The mid-mounted V8 is the most powerful ever V8 ever fitted to any road going Ferrari ever!
