Indian motoring contingent Jehan Daruvala continued to display his driving prowess in the fourth round of the FIA Formula 3 European Championship in Hungary. The 18-year-old took a podium in the opening race of the weekend, starting from third on the grid. While Race 1 saw an impressive start, Daruvala could not replicate the results in the next two races over the weekend.

The 85th edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans certainly provided some edge of the seat action as Porsche made a grand comeback to take home the victory. The team scored its 19th Le Mans 24 Hours after a gruelling race, beating the LMP2 cars that posed some stiff competition as Porsche managed to secure its third consecutive win.

Gujarat girl Mira Erda will become the first Indian female driver to compete in the Euro JK Series championship. One of the highest classes of Formula racing in the country, the Euro JK series is part of the upcoming JK Tyre-FMSCI National Racing Championship. Mira has been active in the racing circuit participating in about 75 races both national and international level, and the 17-year-old will also become one of the youngest drivers to compete in the championship.

Lewis Hamilton showed some incredible pace this weekend at Montreal in the 2017 Formula One Canadian Grand Prix as he managed to come closer to Ferrari's Sebastian Vettel in the championship standings.

It could've been a perfect weekend for Mahindra Racing in Formula E as Felix Rosenqvist managed to take a second consecutive win in Race 2 at Berlin. However, a blunder caused in the pitlane by the Swede attracted a 10 second time penalty, handing over the win to reigning champion Sebastian Buemi of Renault eDams.
