Electric two-wheeler startup One Electric has begun deliveries of its 'KRIDN' electric motorcycle in Hyderabad and Bengaluru for now. The company start deliveries in Tamil Nadu and Kerala in January 2021.

Pune-based two-wheeler maker, Bajaj Auto has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government of Maharashtra to set-up a new manufacturing facility in Chakan. The new facility will see the two-wheeler giant make an investment of Rs. 650 crore, according to a regulatory filing.

Chinese two-wheeler brand CFMoto also has a manufacturing collaboration with KTM to make engines and motorcycles in China.

Okinawa is all set to ramp up production by over 5 times from the current capacity to meet increasing demand for electric two-wheelers.

The Oki100 electric motorcycle will be launched by March 2021. The Oki100 will have a top speed of 120 kmph, with a range of 150 km.

App-based mobility service provider, Ola, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Tamil Nadu Government to set up its first factory in the state, to build two-wheelers. The company has announced an investment of Rs. 2,400 crore to set up what it claims will be the world's largest scooter manufacturing facility.

Okinawa plans an electric onslaught in 2021 that includes the Oki100 electric motorcycle, Cruiser maxi-scooter, and two new surprise launches that include a performance electric scooter as well as an e-scooter for commercial applications.
