The Indian superbike market is in the midst of a boom - growing rapidly and British motorcycle brand Triumph is riding that wave of growth in India, establishing itself as a leader in the Indian superbike market. Triumph Motorcycles India has just completed three years of operations in India and has made a mark as one of the most popular superbike brands.

Yamaha R15 V3.0 is arriving in India next year, and folks in Indonesia have spotted what seems like a facelifted version of the motorcycle. Touted to be the version 3.0, the bike comes with new styling and possibly some mechanical updates.

MAD Industries has unveiled a one-off custom Scrambler based on the Honda CB500 platform. Honda had commissioned the California-based Mangum Automotive Designs (MAD) and the result is a beautiful one-off Scrambler built in collaboration with Lossa Engineering.

British motorcycle brand Norton has unveiled its new V4 superbike in two variants with the 1200cc V4 engine making over 200bhp at 12,500rpm and 130Nm of torque at 10,000rpm. The engines are equipped with titanium inlet valves, twin injectors per cylinder, ride-by-wire throttle for each bank and chain-driven cams.

The 2016 Indian Chieftain Dark Horse has been launched in India, priced at Rs. 31.99 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The fourth launch from the Polaris owned manufacturer this year, the Chieftain gets an all-black treatment with the Dark Horse while retaining the same underpinnings.

UK-based motorcycle company Spirit Motorcycles have unveiled two production bikes, the GP Sport and GP Street along with two higher-spec R models of the bikes.

Triumph's new Bonneville range has certainly garnered rave reviews and the UK based bike maker is now looking forward to expand its line-up - all of five models and more - with yet another motorcycle. As the latest spy shot indicates, it seems that Triumph is planning to introduce a Thruxton R based street-fighter, which could resurrect the iconic Speed Twin badge when it hits the market.

Hero MotoCorp has wrested the top selling two-wheeler crown from Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) with the Hero Splendor reclaiming its position as the most sold two-wheeler in the country by selling almost 4,000 units more than the Honda Activa.
