The commuter bike segment in India is the most competitive of the lot and as more and more manufacturers stoop in to grab a piece of that pie, we see the consumers spoilt for choice. Well, this time Yamaha has imported a 110cc bike for R&D purpose and looks likely that there will be an addition to its lineup.

There has been a lot of interest surrounding the launch of a new bike from the Kawasaki stable and the relatively more restrained sibling of the frenzied H2R is finally here. Kawasaki has launched the Ninja H2 at Rs. 29 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).

Diehard fans of endurance biking have to deal with the fact that there are no offerings from any bike manufacturer in this segment. Now, there seems to be light at the end of the tunnel, for TVS Racing has just imported the Sherco Enduro 450 SEF-R in India for R&D purpose.

After a long wait, Bajaj has finally launched the RS200. The bike will be available in two versions Non ABS and ABS and will be priced at Rs. 1,18500 and 1,30269 respectively (ex-showroom Delhi).

Bajaj Auto, the Indian two-wheeler giant, that recently teased the pictures and a video of the much-awaited 200cc fully-faired bike - the RS 200 - will launch it on March 26, 2015. Like we informed our readers in an earlier article, the bike will be called the RS 200 instead of the 200 SS.

Benelli today launched 5 bikes - the TNT 300, TNT 600i, TNT 600 GT, TNT 899 and the TNT R 1130 - in India.

Bajaj Auto, the home-grown automaker, has brought back its popular commuter bike - the CT100 - in India. Just so you know, the company had discontinued this bike in 2006.

Seeing the growing popularity of this segment, Hero MotoCorp, the world's largest two wheeler maker, is now planning to launch a 250cc bike. To be called the Hero HX250R, the bike was unveiled at the 2014 Delhi Auto Expo.
