Italian super bike maker Ducati today announced re-entry into the Indian market with plans to operate sales and service network under a subsidiary. The brand had made debut in India in 2009 under a partnership with Precision Motor India, which was its exclusive importer.

Skoda Auto India has undertaken an exercise to give similar appearance to all outlets of its dealers across the country, a top official said. The company sells mid-size sedan Rapid, premium sedan Octavia, luxury sedan Superb and premium SUV Yeti in the Indian market. It has 76 dealers across the country.

Castrol has launched the Vecton RX Fuel Saver 10W-40, diesel engine oil which was co-engineered by Castrol and Tata Motors. The oil is designed to increase the fuel efficiency of Tata trucks by 3%, which will not only save substantial amounts of diesel but also operating costs for these trucks.

While its rivals have already introduced the entry level luxury sedan in India, BMW is getting ready to field its car - the 1-series sedan. The car was spotted doing the rounds of the Nurburgring.

Ford Motor Co is turning to one of its early technology partners, Microsoft Corp, to help expand the automaker's connected car services.

Ford has built the 5-millionth model to be equipped with an EcoBoost engine. The red Focus rolled off the assembly line last week at the company's Michigan Assembly Plant in Wayne and featured a 1.0-litre, three-cylinder EcoBoost engine.

Team Castrol Vecton's Stuart Oliver won the rain-hit 2015 T1 Prima Truck Racing. He started second on the grid, and went on to clinch the title for the second time in the 16-lap race.

BMW India today rolled out the performance-oriented Mini Cooper S (3-door petrol) in the Indian market at Rs 34.65 lakh (ex-showroom). The new range Mini's diesel models, however, were already launched in November 2014 in both three and five-door configurations.
