The leaked brochure of the Isuzu MU-X reveals that SUV will be offered in a single engine option with a 5-speed automatic gearbox as standard. It will rival the likes of Toyota Fortuner, Ford Endeavour, and Chevrolet Trailblazer along with the upcoming Volkswagen Tiguan and Skoda Kodiaq as well.

The Lexus LX450d is the only diesel SUV to be offered by the manufacturer in India and packs in top-of-the-line luxury features. The SUV will compete with the Range Rover Autobiography in the segment.

The upcoming launches for May 2017 include a subcompact sedan from Maruti Suzuki, SUV from Isuzu and a premium MPV with a sporty touch from Toyota.

Renault India has launched the new Renault Duster petrol automatic in the country, priced at Rs. 10.32 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The Duster, however, not only gets the option of an automatic, but the complete petrol line-up is now powered by the new 1.5-litre H4K petrol engine.

The new Isuzu MU-X will replace the Japanese automaker's current flagship model in India - the Isuzu MU-7. Isuzu imported a new MU-X SUV to India for homologation and testing last year and now it will launch it in India on the 11th of May 2017.

Skoda India have officially opened bookings for the Kodiaq SUV in India. The new SUV will be available with two diesel and one petrol engine and will have a 7 speed automatic dual clutch gearbox and all wheel drive as standard across all variants. The new SUV is well built and has a great interior and offers only a 7 seat package in India. the Kodiaq has very good road presence and will appeal to a large Indian audience who want an affordable seven seat European SUV

Mercedes-Benz has kick-started the Shanghai Auto Show with the official unveil of the much awaited 2018 Mercedes S-Class facelift. The new S-Class facelift including the cosmetic changes, semi-autonomous driving systems as well as the new engine options.
