Isuzu Motors has finally pulled the wraps off the next-gen 2020 D-Max pick-up truck range in Thailand, ahead of the SUV's official debut slated for October 19. Globally, the D-Max pick-up truck has been in the market since 2011 and is finally getting a generation upgrade after 8 years.

Isuzu has dropped the teaser for the next generation D-Max pick-up, ahead of its global debut on October 19, 2019. The second generation Isuzu D-Max pick-up has been around since 2011 and the third-gen model will bring a host of upgrades over the outgoing version both cosmetically and on the feature front. The 2020 Isuzu D-Max pick-up incorporates the 'Infinite Potential' theme that brings a completely new design language on the offering over the current model.

The upcoming 2020 Mahindra Thar has been recently spotted testing in India, and this time around we get to see the new-generation off-road SUV with a set of alloy wheels and LED taillamps. While we have already shared several spy photos of the 2020 Thar, this is the first time that we are seeing a prototype of the 4x4 SUV with these features.

The electric SUV is based on Volvo's Compact Modular Architecture (CMA), which was designed from the outset with electrification in mind, the battery pack is integrated into the floor of the car without affecting interior space.

Lexus India has introduced the 2020 RX450hL Luxury SUV with prices starting at Rs. 99 Lakh (ex-showroom). The new Lexus RX450hL is the seven-seater version of the RX450h already on sale in India and the luxury SUV gets a BS6 compliant hybrid powertrain under the hood. The new RX450hL can be differentiated by the extended length over the standard two-row RX, and gets a floating roof to reduce the visual bulk. The radical styling that sets the RX apart from conventional SUVs in this space continues to dominate the new version. The new seven-seater RX is available for bookings from this month across the company's dealerships.

Expected to be priced between Rs. 15 and Rs. 17 lakh, the Nexon EV will be launched in the last quarter (Q4) of FY2020 and will be joined by the Altroz EV next year.

The second generation Hyundai Creta compact SUV will have a world premiere at the 2020 Delhi Auto Expo. The car will then be launched in India first, within a month of its unveil. Expect multiple drivetrain options, including diesel and petrol. A longer wheelbase 3-row Creta is expected to follow as a 2021 model.

The Mercedes-Benz G 350d will come in a segment where it will have less completion and at present we can only think the Jeep Wrangler and Toyota Land Cruiser LC as its competitors. That said, the all-new Land Rover Defender will be joining the segment next year.
