The first production-spec Hyundai Venue has rolled out of the assembly line at the Korean carmaker's Chennai plant and we are just weeks away from its launch. The Hyundai Venue will go on sale in India on May 21 which is when the prices will be announced. As we have mentioned earlier, the Venue being a subcompact SUV will have to take a tough fight. Its rivals have been a blockbuster for their respective brands. In fact, we just got to know that Mahindra has bagged over 26,000 bookings for the XUV300 and the number itself speaks of the success. Credit also should be given to the design of these models. All of them have a different demeanour and their designs have been well received in the market. So it was necessary for Hyundai to design the Venue in a way which would set it apart and give its own identity. Well, we have seen the car at its unveiling and here is our take on its looks.

BMW came up with a rather interesting strategy to reveal the 8 Series range. Two of the best looking models of the line-up- the two-door coupe and convertible were shown first and they just blew our mind. And finally the four-door Gran Coupe has followed. Though the teaser image reveals the side of the Gran Coupe which looks gracious and sumptuous, the front and rear are expected to be identical to its two-door counterpart. However, the wheelbase will be larger than the Coupe version, given that it will seat four. The sharp flowing character lines build upon the aesthetics and the rising shoulder line looks strong throughout its length. The low slung stance further keeps the sporty quotient intact.

The Hyundai Venue rollout ceremony has been officially carried out at the automaker's facility ahead of the launch. Prices for the Venue are expected to start around Rs. 8 lakh (ex-showroom).

The car with the powerhouse brand - Maruti Suzuki Wagon R - recently moved to a larger platform and new engines at the start of the year. One of the key reasons Maruti did that was to be able to also sport a larger wheelbase 3-row MPV version of the car with a 7-Seater USP. That vehicle is now ready for launch, and is likely to be sold exclusively through Nexa - Maruti's premium retail channel. It is a decision Maruti is still finalising according to sources. The reason for the dilemma is the fact that Wagon R sales have shrunk - since the new car is bigger and positioned as a higher model than the previous car, which served as a massive volumes model given its entry positioning.

We are getting to see the upcoming MG Hector more often as we are heading close to its unveiling. The MG Hector will officially make its first public appearance on May 15 which is when we'll get to see it in flesh. That said, MG Motor has already revealed the car in pictures and it has been spotted multiple times as well. Our recent exclusive report has also given the colour options the MG Hector will be offered in. The paint shades we saw in the Video are Brown, Red Silver and white but we expect the range to be wider and we will get to know about it more when it will be finally unveiled. Up front, the 2021 Mercedes-AMG E63 will get a new headlamp cluster which will sport the new boomerang shaped daytime running lights. The front bumper gets redesigned aprons and the fenders also have been tweaked to go with the new profile. At the side, the profile looks identical to the current car and the rear gets new taillamps along with a new bumper.

The soon-to-be-launched Hyundai Venue SUV has garnered over 2000 bookings in India in just one day. It was just yesterday, on May 2, that the company announced opening pre-bookings for the new subcompact SUV in India.

Maybach is the badge which adds even more opulence to Mercedes cars.
