Tata Motors Introduces Altroz, Nexon And Harrier Dark Edition, Prices Start At Rs. 8.71 Lakh

Tata Motors has launched the much-awaited 2021 Dark Editions of the Altroz, Nexon, Nexon EV and the Harrier. The 2021 Tata Altroz Dark Edition is priced at Rs. 8.71 lakh, while the Nexon Dark Edition is priced at Rs. 10.40 lakh. The Tata Nexon EV also gets the 'Dark' treatment and is priced at Rs. 15.99 lakh, while the Tata Harrier Dark Edition is priced at Rs. 18.04 lakh. All prices are ex-showroom Delhi. While the Harrier Dark Edition has been around for a while, the Altroz, Nexon and Nexon EV Dark Editions are all-new and bring an all-black treatment to the respective cars.

Commenting on the launch of the Dark range, Vivek Srivatsa, Head Marketing, Passenger Vehicles Business Unit, Tata Motors said, "Harrier Dark which was launched as a limited edition product initially, did extremely well and on popular customer demand became an integral part of the Harrier portfolio. It offered an exciting and unique package to the customers. We are confident that the extended dark range is equally compelling and cater to customers who are looking for bold and stylish cars this festive season."
Starting with the Tata Altroz Dark Edition, the special version is based on the XZ+ variant and is offered with all three engine options on the hatchback. Exterior changes on the model include the new Cosmo Dark colour scheme, 16-inch alloy wheels with Dark tint finish, dark chrome across the bonnet and the #Dark emblem on the front fender. The cabin gets an all-granite black theme with the gloss black finished mid pad on the dashboard, premium leatherette seats with tri-arrow perforations and blue deco stitching and 'Dark' embroidery on the front headrest.
With respect to the Tata Nexon Dark, the subcompact SUV is offered on the XZ+, XZA+, XZ+(O) and XZA+(O) variants across the petrol ad diesel engine options. Upgrades include the Atlas black exterior colour, 16-inch charcoal alloys, sonic silver beltline and the Dark emblem. The cabin also gets the black Tri Arrow dashboard panel, black leatherette seats with Tri-arrow perforations, 'Dark' embroidery on the front headrests, and door trims with the Tri arrow theme.
The Tata Nexon EV electric SUV Dark Edition is offered on the XZ+ and XZ+ LUX variants. Upgrades on the model include midnight black body colour, charcoal grey alloys, satin black humanity line and beltline, and the Dark emblem. The cabin gets spruced up with dark-themed leatherette upholstery with tri-arrow perforations, EV blue highlight stitches, dark themed piano black dashboard with tri-arrow design and dark leatherette upholstery with tri-arrow perforations on the door trim. The steering wheel is also wrapped in leather and comes with blue stitching, along with Dark embroidery on the front headrests. The Nexon EV also gets a new rear seat central armrest with cupholders, 60:40 rear split seats and adjustable rear seat headrest that's now available on the XZ+ trim.
Lastly, the Tata Harrier Dark Edition will be available in the top three variants - XT+, XZ+ and XZA+. The Harrier Dark gets the Oberon black colour with a tinge of deep blue, 18-inch Blackstone alloys, and piano black finished Harrier badging. Inside, the SUV sports the Dark chrome interior package, Benecke Kaliko leatherette upholstery with Tri-Arrow perforations and 'Dark' embroidered on the front seats.
All vehicles continue using the same set of features and hardware from the standard top variants. In addition to the new Dark Edition, Tata Motors has also introduced new merchandise on the offerings including the Dark branded leather jackets and t-shirts. Furthermore, the company has introduced a tyre puncture repair kit across the range as an additional safety feature.
