    Toothpaste

Toothpaste has ingredients that are abrasive, and you can apply it to your bike to wipe off minor scratches on the painted surface. Whenever you get a scratch on your bike, look for a paste with teeth whitening as it works as a tool for sanding. Start off by wiping clean the scratched surface, applying the paste to it, and finally, removing the paste with a cloth. Repeat the process if the scratch persists. You will find that the scratch has been erased.

    Nail Polish

Nail polish is not only a woman's best friend, but it's a bike owner's best friend too. Find a colour that matches your bike and apply coats of nail polish over the scratch. Remember to wipe clean the scratched surface before applying nail polish to it. It is a go-to item for covering those ugly scratches on your bike. Don't stop with a single coat if the scratch is still visible. You can apply several coats to ensure that the scratch is covered.

    Candle Wax

Candle wax makes the scratches invisible and is a great way to remove minor scratches. Start by wiping the scratched surface and drying it. Next, put some candle wax on the unwanted scratch, and you will see that the wax covers and seals the scratch. Although this solution is not permanent, it is definitely a temporary relief for any bike owner. You can think of permanently fixing the scratch later.

    Sand Paper and Shoe Polish

Start by wiping clean the scratched surface so that you can identify the damage. Wipe the scratch with a cloth, and now you're ready for the next step. Start by finding a shoe polish that is darker than the colour of your bike and start applying it to the scratch. Once you have applied it to the scratch, you can use sandpaper to even out the surface next. Using the sandpaper will make the scratch invisible.

Ensure that you are not sanding more than required; otherwise, you'll be doing more harm than good. Just rub until the surface is level and the shoe polish is gone.
