Royal Enfield reported overall sales of 63,643 motorcycles in May 2022, with highest-ever monthly sales of 10,118 motorcycles in overseas markets.

The Hosur-based company recorded 3,02,982 units, as compared to 1,66,889 units sold in May 2021, registering a growth of 81.55 per cent.

Tata Motors registered a massive 185 per cent year-on-year growth in its monthly sales as the company despatched 43,341 passenger vehicles in May 2022, which is its highest ever monthly sales.

Mahindra revealed the new Mahindra Scorpio-N received a strong response registering robust bookings.

Ather Energy managed to eclipse its sales from April 2022 with 3,787 units sold in May 2022, registering the company's best-ever monthly sales so far.

Honda's wholesales for May 2022 stood at 353,188 units (domestic + exports) in May 2022, and the number was substantially higher when compared to May 2021 when the company sold 58,168 two-wheelers owing to the second wave of Covid-19.

In May 2022, Skoda Auto India sold 4,604 units in India, Compared to the 5,152 vehicles sold in April 2022, the company saw a MoM decline of 11 per cent, however, against the May 2021, Skoda reported a over 6 fold YoY growth.

Maruti Suzuki registered a healthy growth of nearly 247 per cent year-on-year when compared to 46,555 units sold in May 2021. However, do note that sales last year were due to the second wave of the Covid-19 pandemic,
