In a bold move to look more contemporary, Chennai-based motorcycle maker Royal Enfield is now donning new stripes. From the brand logo to the monogram on the bike, Royal Enfield has given the heritage brand a makeover, something purists might not be too pleased about.

Royal Enfield says the new logo is now fresher and more vibrant and holds on to its British-motorcycling roots. The new monogram proudly highlights the iconic Royal Enfield wings and the company says it leaves a proud stamp of the endurance quality of its bikes.

The new Royal Enfield crest with 'Made Like a Gun' now looks more evolved and bolder. From the Thunderbird to the Classic range of RE bikes, the product logos and trademark winged badge on the fuel tank has undergone a refresh. Also the legendary Madras gold paint stripes on the Royal Enfield motorcycles are a bit more prominent.

And not just that, Royal Enfield has added new colours to the Classic and Thunderbird motorcycles. The Classic 500 gets a new Tan shade, while the 350 gets two new colours in Lagoon (Blue) and Ash. The Thunderbird gets a new cool-looking Marine shade on both the 500 and the 350.
