The Honda City e:HEV will source the same 1.5-litre, four-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine from the standard sedan, but this time around, the petrol mill is assisted by an electric motor powered by a lithium-ion battery pack integrated in its boot.

The teaser previewed a part of the silhouette of the upcoming sportscar along with part of the rear fender.

The new Honda City hybrid model will feature a battery pack coupled to its 1.5-litre petrol unit, along with slight tweaks to its styling to give it a sportier look.
