Two Indian riders, Rajiv Sethu and Anish D Shetty will form part of the Idemitsu Honda Racing Team for the 2018 season of the Asia Road Racing Championship.

MotoGP privateer Tech 3 recently announced its split from Yamaha after an association of nearly 20 years, opening room for a host of speculations. However, the satellite team has now brought an end to all rumours and has announced that it will be partnering with KTM from 2019. Having made its premier class debut only last season, the Austrian factory team will provide full support to Tech 3 with the two RC16 bikes next year.

After an overwhelming start to Season 4 of the FIA Formula E, Mahindra Racing faced its first shocker of a race that ended with a double retirement for the team. Both drivers Felix Rosenqvist and Nick Heidfeld called it quits after facing different technical issues with their cars, making way for Daniel Abt to secure his first win of the season for team Audi Abt Shaeffler.

Speculations have been rife since last year that Sahara Force India will be opting for a name change and the team could announce its new name just before the start of the 2018 season in Australia. The Silverstone-based outfit has been eager to make a name change in order to make it more globally relevant and attract more potential sponsors.

Martini will be making an exit from Formula 1 completely at the end of the season and won't renew its sponsorship deal with Williams or any other team on the grid.

One of the last teams to showcase its Formula 1 car for this season, Torro Rosso revealed the new STR13 ahead of the pre-testing in Barcelona. Torro Rosso's 2018 F1 contender uses a Honda power unit for the first time, while it will be piloted by two young drivers Brendon Hartley and Pierre Gasly behind the wheel. The STR13 looks identical to last year's version but gets changes to meet the new regulations.

Finally making its debut, Sahara Force India has unveiled its 2018 Formula 1 challenger - VJM11 during pre-testing at Barcelona. The Silverstone team unveiled its new F1 car with drivers Esteban Ocon and Sergio Perez at the side wearing the new bright pink livery. The Silverstone team has earned quite a reputation in the past two seasons, having finished fourth in the constructors' standings consecutively, and hopes are high that the team will put up a strong show this year as well.

Reigning MotoGP world champion Marc Marquez has extended his contract with Honda Racing Corporation (HRC) factory team - Repsol Honda for the next two years. The factory team announced that Marquez' new contract will begin from 2019 until the end of 2020.
