Hero MotoCorp to Sell Bikes Online Via Snapdeal
Highlights
Hero MotoCorp, world's leading two-wheeler manufacturer, and e-commerce giant - Snapdeal, have signed a deal to sell two-wheelers online. Snapdeal has already been in partnership with home-grown auto-maker Mahindra & Mahindra for Scorpio, Rodeo scooter, Centuro motorcycle, and Hero's Electric scooters. Just so you know, the e-commerce portal also sells automobile components and accessories.
With this new tie-up, the company will now be able to sell popular HeroCorp motorcycles, including Passion Pro, Splendor Plus, Karizma and Ignitor, online. The online ordering process will be the first step to link the buyers with their nearest authorised dealers.
Customers will make the concerned payments online, and the authorised dealer will deliver the vehicle along with documentation once he receives the payment. What makes the entire process even more convenient and simple is the provision of online credit card payment with an EMI option. That said, online vehicles sale is still in the 'test phase', and might become a new trend in future.
