Highlights

Hero MotoCorp's new 110cc commuter motorcycle with the start-stop technology (called iSmart by Hero) has been spotted without any camouflage. The bike is expected to be showcased at the Auto Expo 2016 next month.

The new commuter motorcycle is expected to be powered by a new 110cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that features the 'start-stop' technology. The iSmart system, as it's called by Hero, features an idle stop-start system which automatically shuts the engine while idling (say at a traffic light), and automatically cranks the engine once the clutch is engaged.

As evident in the spy shots, the bike has a simple design with a telescopic front fork, 5-step adjustable rear shocks, alloy wheels, split grab rails, long contoured seat and clear lens indicators. The instrument panel appears newly designed too, with blue dials. Hero MotoCorps is expected to showcase this new commuter bike at the upcoming Auto Expo.
