Geneva Motorshow Preview: Alfa Romeo might bring the 4C Roadster
News is now doing the rounds that Alfa Romeo will unveil a topless version of its new 4C sports car at the Geneva Motorshow.
Highlights
Ever since the Alfa Romeo 4C coupe made its debut, there have been speculations of the Italian car manufacturer coming out with a 4C roadster. News is now doing the rounds that Alfa Romeo will unveil a topless version of its new 4C sports car at the Geneva Motorshow.
Alfa Romeo will introduce it as a concept to begin with, but we feel it will be closer to a production version. Expected changes are a new headlamp design, and a new design for the wheels.
If we go back in time, the Alfa Romeo 4C Coupe was unveiled at the Geneva Motorshow in 2011 and we may get to see the open-top version three years later at the same show.
However, what still puzzles us is how Alfa Romeo will accommodate this second variant of the 4C. Currently the 4C coupe boasts of a limited production of 3500 units per year and it will be a challenge for the Italian company to add more numbers to that figure.
