The Geneva International Motor Show (GIMS) will run from February 14 to February 19, 2023, at the Palexpo Exposition Centre in Geneva, Switzerland.

The organiser of the Geneva International Motor Show (GIMS) have announced that the 2022 edition of the show will be cancelled, due to issues relating to the COVID-19 pandemic. The motor show has been cancelled for the third time.

The organising foundation of GIMS has given exhibitors until mid-July to register for the 2022 event.

The organisers have also decided that the International Motor show will be sold to a new promoter and loan from the state of Geneva will not be accepted.

The new concept is heavily inspired by 60s-era Beetle-based dune buggies and is more of a design study than a preview to a production model. The Volkswagen I.D. Buggy Concept is based on the automaker's new Modular Electric Drive (MEB) platform that will underpin a host of new electric models from the automaker.
