F1: Verstappen Reveals All Team Bosses Called Him Except Wolff

The rivalry between Red Bull and Mercedes is quickly heating up in the aftermath of the British GP where Lewis Hamilton collided with Max Verstappen at the start of the race showing him to the tyre wall and ending his race. The 51G crash left Verstappen winded and his car was in tatters. In the aftermath, at the driver's press conference in Hungary, he revealed that many people called him including all the team bosses and many of his teammates and drivers from other teams to ask if he was okay. Though he did note that while Lewis Hamilton called him, Mercedes boss Toto Wolff didn't. 

"Yes, but that is normal. All the other drivers, other team bosses have already sent me a message or something. That is normal," he told Sky Germany when asked if Hamilton had called him. But when asked if Wolff had called him, he said, "no." 

He also revealed that the chat between himself and Hamilton was respectful, though Hamilton didn't apologise for the incident. 

Max Verstappen revealed his thoughts on what happened between him Hamilton 

"No, not apologised. In the end, it doesn't matter. Of course, I wasn't happy with what happened. I'm still not. I don't think it was my fault. I gave him a lot of space and in the end, he drove with understeer into my car. Of course, it's a pity we lost so many points. Now we have to make sure we get a lot of points back this weekend [at the Hungarian Grand Prix]," he added. 

The Dutchman also addressed the narrative Hamilton was trying to build that he had been overall aggressive. 

"Everyone says I'm driving aggressively but I don't think so! Obviously, I'm on the limit but not over it," he said. I think I know how to defend in a car and I did that at Silverstone. There is not so much to learn from my side," he clarified.
