Bajaj Auto has inaugurated a new EV manufacturing facility under the Chetak Technologies Limited brand.

A report from PTI suggest that Ola Electric is looking for partner OEMs to set up an electric vehicle cell manufacturing plant in India, which could cost around Rs. 7,700 crore or $ 1 billion.

EV startup Simple Energy has begun taking registrations for test rides in cities across India. The company reports that it received over 20,000 test ride registrations in India in just 24 hours.

Compared to sales of April 2022, sales of WardWizard's electric two-wheelers fell by almost 50 per cent.

A team of researchers from IIT-Madras is developing Zinc-air batteries electric vehicles which are said to have a longer shelf life than lithium-ion batteries and are more economical.

Italian brand Energica is also the supplier for the MotoE class, and has taken the firs step in the electric sports touring segment with the Energica Experia.
