According to a leaked internal product document, Kia Motors will be introducing the all-electric Kia Seltos EV in China, later this year. Talks about the electric version of the Seltos, which is known as the Kia KX3 in the Chinese market, have been going on since the SUV's launch in 2019.

The Government says it is trying to extend the best possible concessions to this sector, and has lowered the GST on electrical vehicles to 12 per cent

Formula E has announced the provisional calendar for 2020-21 that was approved by the FIA World Motor Sport Council last week. While the current season is set to resume in August with back-to-back races in Berlin, Germany, the next season of the electric motorsport series will be held only through 2021. The championship would normally begin in November, culminating in July the next year. The 2020-21 Formula campaign will now see its first race on January 16, with the Santiago e-Prix becoming the opening round of the championship. It also gains the FIA World Championship status for the seventh season.

China's industry ministry said on Monday it might temporarily ease quotas designed to boost production of electric cars, in an attempt to help automakers in the world's biggest market revive sales badly bruised by the coronavirus pandemic.

After launching the new GLS flagship SUV, Mercedes-Benz India is now eyeing to launch its first electric car - EQC EV in the country. Ford has shared that the Mustang Mach-E owners will get 250 kWh of complimentary recharging which is enough to give five full electric charges depending on the battery it is equipped with.
