Odysse Electric Vehicles has announced the launch of its new low-speed electric scooter E2Go in India. Offered in two variants - E2Go and E2Go Lite, the former comes with a lead-acid battery, the latter is powered by a lithium-ion battery.

The American electric carmaker has registered its Indian subsidiary under the name 'Tesla India Motors and Energy Private Ltd.', and is reportedly in talks with the Karnataka government for a land parcel in Tumkur, on the outskirts of Bengaluru.

Tesla is reportedly in talks with five Indian state governments to set-up operations in India that include the brand's domestic headquarters as well as R&D centres.

The converted vehicle - equipped for underground mine use - will operate under full battery power

Though the car is not expected to go on sale anytime soon, the company seems to have started testing the electric car on public roads in Austria.

The report follows a statement on Friday from Hyundai Motor that it was in early talks with Apple after another local media outlet said the companies were aiming to launch a self-driving electric car in 2027.

Regardless of the size and scope of the screen all of these features wouldn't come alive without Nvidia's silicon which is at the heart of the experience.

The plant already builds the XC40 Recharge, the company's first fully electric car, as well as a plug-in hybrid version of the XC40.
