Mercedes-Benz India welcomed the newly-launched Jaguar I-Pace in the country in a fun post on social media, as the first rival to the EQC in the electric luxury SUV segment.

India plans to offer fresh incentives to companies making electric vehicles (EVs) as part of a broad auto sector scheme it expects to attract $14 billion of investment over five years, according to industry sources and a document seen by Reuters.

The Jaguar I-Pace is the newest luxury electric SUV to go on sale and comes to India as a Completely Built Unit. The offering is being sold in three variants with a single powertrain option.

It has been stated that Geely Founder and chairman Li Shufu bull personally oversee the establishment of the Zeekr brand.

When launched, the I-Pace e-SUV will compete against the likes of the Mercedes-Benz EQC in the segment. Prices are expected to start from around Rs. 1 crore for the new Jaguar I-Pace.

Ford's Mustang Mach-E doesn't have advance autonomous driving technology like Autopilot.

The Detel Easy Plus is a low-speed electric two-wheeler powered by a 20Ah lithium-ion battery, and is priced at Rs. 39,999.

Deliveries of the Ather 450 X and Ather 450 Plus will begin from the first week of April in Jaipur, Rajasthan.
