Silicon Valley self-driving startup Gatik and Isuzu North America Corp on Tuesday said they will work together to build autonomous delivery trucks that Gatik will use to serve its retailer customers.

In an interview released by the New York Times, Cook said that autonomous technology in cars is an ideal match for the company.

Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) and Phinergy, an Israeli start-up company has recently formed a joint venture (JV) to build Aluminum-Air systems in India. Phinergy is a company that specialises in hybrid lithium-ion and aluminium-air or zinc-air battery systems and the Government of India believes that this JV will boost the country's aspirations with regards to electric mobility.

The centrepiece of the plan is Volvo Cars' ambition to be a fully electric car brand by 2030, with only pure electric cars in its line-up.

Based on General Motors' next-generation Ultium Platform, the new Hummer EV SUV will be offered in four versions - EV2, EV2X, EV3X and Edition 1 model.

The electric-car maker delivered 184,800 vehicles globally during the first quarter, above estimates of 177,822 vehicles, according to Refinitiv data. This also exceeds its previous record of 180,570 achieved last quarter.
