Germany's Economy Minister Peter Altmaier has reportedly said the country will have 1 million electric cars on the road in July 2021, hitting its target six months late.

Hinduja Group, the parent company of Ashok Leyland has formally launched its electric commercial vehicle brand - Switch Mobility. The company has appointed former Chief Executive of Aston Martin, Andy Palmer, as Executive Vice Chairman and CEO.

Bhavish Aggarwal, Chairman and Group CEO, Ola Electric, posted a video of him riding the Ola Electric scooter on Twitter, hinting that the scooter is now ready for a market launch.
