MG eZS Teased Ahead Of India Launch
MG Motor India had already said that it will launch its all-electric SUV the eZS in India in 2019 and now the company has teased the car on its social media page. The MG eZS will be one of the first-ever fully electric SUVs in India when it is launched. The eZS will be MG's second launch in India after the upcoming MG Hector. The company further said that its electric vehicles will get over-the-air (OTA) technology and would go over 300 km in a single charge from its lithium-ion battery. MG is yet to announce the exact specifications for the eZS.
Aaveg Adds Tata Tigor EVs To Its Fleet For Corporate Travel

Travel solutions provider for corporate Aaveg has announced the induction of the Tata Tigor EVs in its fleet for corporate mobility. The firm says that the decision to switch to electric vehicles was made in a bid to create a pollution-free environment and "leave a better legacy for the generations to come." Aaveg plans to replace 5-10 per cent of its existing fleet with electric vehicles over the next six months and up to 50 per cent in the next five years. Aaveg specialises into ground transportation space on a managed service model across multiple industries including IT, e-commerce, BPOs, KPOs, banking, retail, manufacturing PSUs and more.
China Sees Decline In Electric Vehicle Sales For Second Consecutive Month

China has reported a decline of 16 per cent in electric vehicle sales for the month of August. Last month the cumulative sales of all pure-electric, fuel-celled, and plugin hybrids vehicles stood at 85,000 units the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, compared to 100,000+ vehicles sold during the same month in 2018.

Inspired by new ultra-thin solar panels developed for satellites, a project led by Toyota Motor Corp is experimenting with a sun-powered Prius that it hopes will one day require no plugging in. In the Japanese government-funded demonstration project, Toyota engineers fitted solar panels designed by Sharp Corp to the hood, roof, rear window and spoiler to see how much juice the sun can generate. The electricity from the panels goes directly to the drive battery, so the Prius can charge while moving or when parked.
