The Tesla Cybertruck has been garnering a lot of attention ever since it was first unveiled last month. Right from the unconventional design, the shattered bulletproof glass with balls of steel; over 250,000 reservations within days, and the Cybertruck is already one of the most talked-about launches of 2022. It was then a pleasant surprise for the residents of the city of Los Angeles, US, to see Tesla CEO Elon Musk take the pick-up out for a spin earlier this week. The CEO was spotted driving the electric pick-up truck himself, providing a good look at the model and its proportions in the real world. Interestingly, he also managed to bang into a traffic pylon as he was seen exiting the restaurant premises.

While Europe is most likely to be the major growth region during the forecast period, the Asia Pacific region will also grow significantly.

MG Motor India today officially unveiled its fully-electric B-segment SUV, the MG ZS EV. Expected to be launched in January 2020, the ZS EV is the second model to be launched by the Chinese-owned British brand, and the first electric car from Morris Garages in India.

BMW and its partner Great Wall Motor said they plan to build a plant in China with a capacity of 160,000 cars per year, and which will produce BMW's electric MINI brand and Great Wall Motor models.

The Toshiba Group on Thursday signed an Expression of Interest with the Kerala government for technology transfer and manufacturing lithium-ion (Li-ion) batteries for electric vehicles, an announcement by the Chief Minister's Office said here.
