Foxconn aims to become a major player in the global EV market and has clinched deals with U.S. startup Fisker Inc and Thailand's energy group PTT PCL.

Xiaomi Corp CEO Lei Jun reportedly aims for the company to mass produce its own cars by the first half of 2024. The date marks the next major target for the company's fledgling electric vehicle (EV) division.

At least 50% of Aston Martin's sales should be electric models by 2030, said CEO Tobias Moers on Tuesday.
